How inventory tracking works
Add products with a name, price, and starting stock quantity.
Selling — when you add a product as a line item on an invoice, the stock count is automatically reduced.
Restocking — click a product below to edit it, then update the Stock Qty field to reflect your new inventory count.
Low stock alerts — products at or below the threshold you set will show a warning badge so you know when to reorder.

Credit Card Fee Passthrough

Pass credit card processing fees onto clients so you receive the full invoice amount after processor deductions. The surcharge is calculated using a reverse formula to guarantee you net exactly the original total.

Legal Compliance Notice

Credit card surcharging is regulated at the state level and may not be permitted in all jurisdictions. Before enabling this feature, please be aware of the following:

  • Prohibited states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine currently prohibit credit card surcharges. Puerto Rico also prohibits surcharges.
  • Capped states: Colorado caps surcharges at 2% or the merchant's actual processing cost, whichever is lower.
  • Debit cards: Surcharging debit or prepaid cards is prohibited in all 50 states under the Durbin Amendment, even if processed as "credit."
  • Disclosure required: Most states require clear, visible notice to the client before the transaction is completed (at point of entry and point of sale).
  • Fee caps: The surcharge generally cannot exceed your actual processing cost or the card network's limit (Visa: 3%, Mastercard: 4%), whichever is lower.
  • Cash discount alternative: In states where surcharges are prohibited, offering a "cash discount" (reducing the price for non-card payments) is typically a legal alternative.

Laws change frequently. We strongly recommend consulting with your payment processor and/or an attorney to confirm that surcharging is permitted in your state and that your implementation complies with all applicable disclosure and fee-cap requirements.

When enabled, a processing fee is automatically added when a client pays by credit card.
